Feeling Twisty

This episode came about after realizing my old blog is still active. I started it about six years ago when I was still sick. If you check out the blog, I think you'll notice the difference between the state I was in then and my current state.

Why do some things seem more difficult than others when it comes to manifesting in my life? I try to answer that question in today's episode. 
Also, check out  Find the Good News with Oran Parker. He's got some very good stuff on his show. I quote Amanda Y. in this episode. She was a guest on Oran's show, episode 39. And I'm on episode 48. 
 

I grew up being so freaking scared of going to hell. I would hear preachers quoting the Bible, saying, "The Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel." (Mark 1:15) I was taught that repentance meant groveling, begging God up in the sky for forgiveness. That's not what the word means. Repent means a change of mind. 
So, knowing the kingdom of God is within us, we are called to have a radical change of thinking and believe the gospel, or good news. That good news is that the power and wisdom of God, Jesus Christ, "I Am," is within us. It is us. 
 

Take a look at your reactions to events. I'm noticing my reactions tell me the state in which I'm dwelling. 

I share a little of what I was thinking about what Neville calls the law and the promise. 
"The day will come you will find yourself re-enacting the entire drama as told us in the gospel, and you will know who he is in a first person singular, present tense experience." Neville Goddard

So what do you do with those people in your life that just won't learn. They seem to always screw up a good thing. 

Today was the opening of "For the Love Of" art show at a local gallery. I heard a wonderful story about a young boy who imagined up a cup of grapes. I love how quickly this really works. 

I was nearly a college drop out. I went from near academic probation to graduating with honors after I began tapping into the power of imagination. Back then, though, I had not heard of Neville Goddard or Mr. Twenty Twenty. 
 

I tell the story of a little girl's dream of a magical raincoat and how it became a reality.
"You can be anything in this world but you cannot know it or expect it to come to pass unless you act. If you react based on the past, you continue in the same pattern."

Neville Goddard said, "To try to change circumstances before you change your imaginal activity is to struggle against the very nature of things." 
Through the years, I've searched for and tried just about everything to give myself value, to make myself happy. Back when I was a child, I went to war with food. But dropping 70 pounds didn't fix anything. My circumstances didn't change until I changed my concept of myself.
